Tradition Continues

The Tradition Continues

After 28 years of hard fun work involved in growing beach soccer in the state of Florida, this past January Peter decided to pass on the tradition and after “hand picking” the new owners, he sold Major Beach Soccer to Stephen Adair and Eddie Carvacho. The new managing partners, not only share Peter’s vision and are committed to continue building the tradition, but are excited about the prospect and the challenge of serving, meeting and or exceeding the expectations of our customers, our dear beach soccer family!

Stephen shared his thoughts: “The opportunity to continue the legacy Peter Mellor established as a pioneer within the Beach Soccer community nationally and internationally is an honor. Peter not only is a great leader but a mentor. We are very excited to take Major Beach Soccer to new levels and into new locations in order to grow our brand as the industry leader in event promotion, management and superior customer service.”

Eddie added; “I have known Peter for many years, we were former MLS coaching colleagues developed a personal relationship and to have the chance to continue building into the tradition and legacy that he started over 25 years ago, is humbling. Major Beach Soccer is a fantastic sports property, offering an emerging and exciting sport within a great lifestyle setting. It is the perfect opportunity to collaborate, grow, expand and be an active participant in delivering meaningful experiences to our beach soccer family. We are fully committed to provide the high standard of service and kindness that Peter carried in the business. Finally, as managing partners, it is refreshing and a luxury to continue to have Peter involved with Major Beach Soccer.”

Peter will continue to be involved with Major Beach Soccer as a special consultant sharing his depth of knowledge, experience and deep relationships.
